Phase-II Expansion Project:
It is proposed to expand the capacity of the Raipur power plant by adding 2x800 MW (1600 MW) capacity based on Ultra-supercritical technology under the Phase-II Expansion Project. This will take the combined capacity of the power plant to 2970 MW upon completion of Phase-II. Ordering of main plant equipment for the Phase-II project has commenced.
